Relex Consulting Services was employed by a major medical equipment manufacturer to play a vital role in their FMEA process for a new product design. From the early planning phases to full Failure Mode and Effects Analysis breakdown and evaluation, Relex engineers were there through the entire FMEA process. Guided by our expertise, the resulting FMEA went beyond expectations. Relex engineers discovered that a particular sensor was not necessary, as originally thought. The elimination of the component not only increased product reliability by decreasing product complexity, it also enabled our customer to achieve significant savings by reducing the production cost of each unit manufactured.

Comprehensive service offerings. The Reliability Consulting Team offers extensive services to support your reliability needs. Our team supports a comprehensive set of service offerings in key areas. Design for Reliability encompasses prediction, derating and availability methodologies; Design for Maintainability includes logistics and RCM techniques. Risk Analysis includes risk assessment, FMEA and human error analysis; Field Data Tracking covers FRACAS, reliability growth and warranty tracking; and R&M Planning includes reliability planning, component library services, and life-cycle cost analysis.

Customized solutions. The Implementation Team originated Relex’s full-cycle, 4D process as a tool to customize customer systems to unique requirements and, if needed, configure software tools to support objectives. This four-step process—Discovery, Design, Development, and Delivery —delivers on-time, on-budget results. Working together every step of the way, your project is organized and scheduled by expert managers, and delivered by trained professionals.

Setting the bar. The Training Team conducts courses on a variety of subject matter. From Relex Reliability Studio software training to reliability theory curriculum, the interactive, hands-on sessions amplify learning. The team also provides personal, web-based training seminars on single topics of interest. Our Training Team is equally adept at developing a customized training course suited to your needs. Our Customer Service Team includes software and engineering experts to answer all of your software and reliability questions.
